Women of distinction is a national Girl Scout program that recognizes the achievements of professional and working women residing in their local communities, provides special mentoring opportunities for older Girl Scouts and helps fund programs that serve adult and girl members committed to Girl Scouting and this Council. If you are interested please download the form below and return it to Laurie Mahoney, Director of Development, Girl Scout Council of Buffalo & Erie County, Inc., 70 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14214-2391 by May 9, 2008.

CEO Announced for Girl Scouts of Western New York
The CEO Search Committee is pleased to announce that at the April 6, 2008 meeting of the Council Realignment Committee, Mrs. Cindy Odom was unanimously appointed as the new CEO of the Girl Scout Council of Western New York. Cindy has experience as a Membership Director and is currently serving as the CEO of the Girl Scout Council of Buffalo and Erie County. She will begin her new position on May 1, 2008 and will be located at the Girl Scouts of Niagara County Service Center in Lockport. We ask you to welcome her and look forward to her leadership as we become one new Council-the Girl Scouts of Western New York.
