Girls

The Program Department creates, develops and implements programs that encourages girls to reach their full potential by focusing on personal development, life skills and leadership. We provide comprehensive, informal, educational programs for girls and young women ages 5 to 17.
Program activities focus on personal safety, careers, money management, life skills, health/fitness, environmental concerns and of course FUN!. | In addition, we offer a wide range of activities that encourage cooperation, leadership, noncompetitive learning and provide interaction with positive role models. Through Council sponsorship, girls also have the opportunity to attend national and international conferences, explore leadership opportunities and participate in career seminars, such as Girl Scouts go to Med School or the Engineer It! program.
Day and resident camp programs are offered to both Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts at Camp Seven Hills in Holland, New York and Camp Sky High in Orchard Park, N.Y.
