Juliette Girl Scouts
Juliettes: Girl Scouting for Every Girl, Everywhere
Juliettes are independent Girl Scouts who participate actively and equally in all Girl Scout Programs, but do not belong to a formal Troop.
The Juliettes are...
• Girl Scouts, who are not in Girl Scout Troops
• Girls who learn lots of new things and have fun
• Girls who earn Girl Scout Badges or Try-Its
• Girls who go on field trips
• Girls who go to day and resident camp
• Girls who make new friends, as they learn about Girl Scouting
• Girls who perform community service
Our Juliette Girl Scout program is designed to meet the demands of the busy lifestyles of today’s girls. It is just right for girls and teens who want to be Girl Scouts, but may not have an active Troop in their area or for whom there is no available adult leadership.
• Juliettes participate in organized, supervised Girl Scout activities.
• Juliettes are invited to attend activities and events as published in the Girl Perspectives
catalog, sponsored by the Girl Scout Council of Buffalo & Erie County, when
accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Juliettes may attend events sponsored by their neighborhood Girl Scout Service Unit
when accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Juliettes are eligible to attend Girl Scout day camp and Girl Scout resident camp at
the reduced Girl Scout rate.
