Live, Laugh, Work, Play at Western New York’s Premier Summer Camp Getaway Looking to do an internship for college credit…majoring in education or camping administration…or do you just love working with children in an outdoor setting? Then be a part of a fantastic summer experience. Make a difference in a child’s life and become a summer camp counselor. You will help girls ages 5–17 to develop their full potential; learn to work with and relate to and respect others; and make decisions while contributing to the camp community. In addition, girls and staff alike will make and rekindle friendships, laugh, smile and experience many new and different things.
We train our staff in the following areas: • Ages and stages of youth development • Child abuse report training • Risk management • Leadership • Program development, including Girl Scout age level training • Behavior management • American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Responding to Emergencies when required
Camp Seven Hills Seven Hills Resident Camp is located in Holland, New York. The camp encompasses approximately 620 acres of woodland paths, sunny meadows, ponds, streams, and hills. The camp facilities include a swimming pool, lake, central dining hall, infirmary, shower house, eight cabin and platform tent units, sports complex, stables with indoor and outdoor riding rings, and a high and low ropes course. Seven Hills provides programs for girls entering first through twelfth grade. There are mini, one, and two week sessions available. The camp programs include ropes challenge course, horseback riding, swimming, out-of-camp wilderness trips and much, much more. Seven Hills is accredited by the American Camp Association.
Camp Sky High Sky High Day Camp is located in Orchard Park, New York. The camp encompasses approximately 15 acres of wooded area. The camp facilities include lodges and Adirondack style shelters. Sky High provides a day camp program for girls 5 years old or entering first through eighth grade. We offer programs that include cookouts, songs, games, hikes and arts and crafts. We emphasize environmental awareness by teaching the skills of outdoor living. Programs run Monday through Friday, with an overnight experience every Thursday for girls entering the fourth grade and up.
